Cartridge World would like say a huge thank you to all of our customers for supporting the Plant A Tree Not A Cartridge, (PATNAC) national tree planting campaign, launched in National Tree Week 2004.

The year long campaign has resulted in our target of 6,000 trees planted at designated sites across the UK and Cartridge World's franchisees have been getting down to earth with the digging to get all the saplings planted.

By encouraging customers to recycle cartridges rather than throw them away, PATNAC has seen over 2 million cartridges saved from UK landfill sites.

Cartridge World also brought the campaign to the younger generations through a poster design competition earlier in the year. Children aged four to thirteen were invited to don their creative caps to illustrate the importance of planting trees and look at why trees are so important to the environment.
